I cannot find where it says:
What firepower does it have for shooting purposes (D6)?
How is the unit treated in terms of combat during an assault?

The commissioner does not fight, he is there for morale and cohesion (for me)

How is the unit treated in terms of combat during an assault?

The same answer, however by triggering the human wave, it allows to test the units during an assault if they are hit, which can bring more figurines into contact.

The commissioner represents half a unit.
He shoots with 1d6-1 as if he were a crew or militia.
He fights with +1 as if he were an officer.
